A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I have always loved interacting with people. Meaningful conversations with teenagers and adults have been an integral part of my life. Listening to people, understanding their deepest fears, their joys and their motivation is something I thrive on.

While I graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology from Delhi University, it was during the pandemic that I decided to build on my natural abilities and my psychology base. To give a formal shape to my years of informal counselling, I completed a Diploma in Person Centered Therapy from Maanas –TIS. I'm also completing my masters in Counselling and Family Therapy. This is in addition to the insightful seminars and workshops I've been a part of to go deeper into Relationship Counselling as well as Adolescent Counselling.

I believe in Carl Rogers's person-centred approach to therapy, and my current sessions are inspired by that line of psychological wellbeing.  My only desire in this second innings of a career is to make a difference in people's lives.

As Rogers said: "People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, 'Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner.' I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds."

I hope you reach out if you think I can help you live a happier, more fulfilling life with healthy relationships.
